Jim Wright, President
Jim Wright has spent 25+ years in the real estate industry as a developer, building owner and tenant and landlord representative. His outstanding track record with large government contractors and high-tech firms, coupled with his excellent communication and negotiation skills, have built his reputation of honesty, integrity and service throughout the real estate community.
Jim began his real estate career in high school, in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, when he worked as a drywall finisher. At age 19 he entered the speculative home-building business, became a licensed real estate salesman and put himself through college.
After graduating from Virginia Tech, Jim was recruited directly to Arthur Andersen LLP as an accountant and financial consultant. Later, he became a commercial real estate broker for Shannon & Luchs and at CB Richard Ellis, where he began working exclusively as a tenant representative in 1990. He was awarded membership in the Colbert Coldwell Circle, comprised of the top 3 percent of all CB Richard Ellis producers worldwide, in 1992, 1993, 1997 and 1998 — a tribute to his capacity to meet and exceed clients’ high expectations. He purchased his first office building in 1995.
Since then, Jim launched James Michael Companies (JMC), a commercial real estate development firm devoted to building quality structures that meet companies’ specific needs. One of JMC’s first projects, Loudoun Parkway Commons in Ashburn, VA, sold out in six months.
Because of his passion to serve those in need and to be true to his faith, Jim has founded two non-profit organizations: Doubler’s Club, an investment information organization, and Birthmother Ministries, Inc., an outreach ministry to women who face unplanned pregnancies, of which he is President.
Jim is a licensed CPA (inactive) in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is affiliated with the National Association of Industrial Office Parks (NAIOP), Northern Christian Business Men’s Committee and Community Bible Study where he serves as a leader and Prayer Coordinator in the Men’s Tyson’s Corner Class. He resides in Vienna, VA with his son, A.J.
